No More RTPs

What happened? Well, there were some people who by instruction of Fr. Isaac removed our red tipped photinias (RTPs). This is part of the preliminary landscaping that will be talking place this fall. The goal is to create a Holy Angels Campus that inspires people to glorify God. It says in Romans 8, 18: For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of GodCreation greatly desires to see the kingdom of heaven, whereby humanity praises God alongside nature. Like the soul, nature desires to be shaped into a Christian existence whereby Jesus Christ is proclaimed King. We are gonna take steps to shape our property into a place of inspiration and faith.

GOOD SHEPHERD 2All are invited to Fr. Isaac’s installation as pastor of Holy Angels and Our Lady of Guadalupe. The installation mass will take place at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Morgan at 12:45pm on Sunday August 10th. Bishop Michael Olson will preside. The installation of a pastor is a public event in which a bishop officially deputes a priest to take on the responsibility of the care of souls for a particular parish. After mass all are invited to eat, listen to music and socialize in the parish hall.

12:45PM – Mass with installation

1:45PM – Food and Mariachi Music

Safe Environment Training

On Sunday August 3rd at 10AM in the parish hall Safe Environment training will be offered for all those volunteers who have not yet participated in the training or who would like to renew their certification in person. Safe Environment training is a way to collectively build positive and healthy relationships within the parish through awareness of possible dangers to kids, the elderly and vulnerable adults. This is a program in which the entire Diocese of Fort Worth participates and is a requirement for every type of volunteer service or ministry at Holy Angels.
